SANITATION FOR ALL

STATUS: COMPLETED!

Date and location: November 2023  to March 2024 – Rontaeak village Siem Reap area, Cambodia

THE RESULT:

We provided the following to the small rural village of Rontaek:

• 10 sanitation unit

• 300kg of clothing 

• Donation of $800 to a local school

• Donation of $1000 of school materials for a local school 

SITUATION:

Today, villagers use pond water for their daily needs and, with no access to sanitation facilities, practice open defecation, resulting in a potentially deadly cycle of unsafe water, sanitation, and hygiene. On top of this, the monsoon season brings high levels of flooding, making the situation even worst.

GOAL:

We aim to raise USD 28,000, and your donation will go directly towards building 20 sanitation units in Rontaeak

Where’s the money going?

• US$1,200 – building the sanitation unit which consists of 1 toilet

• US$200 – cost of our local operations manager to project manage the construction of the toilet

• Paypal fees of ~4%.
